Answers to Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can care start?
+
In many cases, we can connect you with an experienced independent caregiver within 24-48 hours. For urgent situations, we do our best to arrange same-day support.
What does a free consultation look like?
+
We start by listening. Tell us about your loved one, what's going on, and what you're hoping for. We'll explain how the Atlee registry works, discuss care options, and answer every question you have. No obligation, no pressure.
How much does care cost?
+
Care through Atlee is a flat $35 per hour, plus a small payment processing fee. Unlike most agencies, we never upcharge for evenings, weekends, holidays, or last-minute requests. The same rate, 24/7/365. That's significantly less than traditional agencies at $40-50+ per hour (before their upcharges). No sign-up fees, no long-term contracts.
Do you accept insurance or Medicare?
+
Atlee is a home care registry (called a placement agency under Colorado law), so our services are private pay. However, some long-term care insurance policies do cover non-medical home care. We're happy to help you check your coverage.
What areas do you serve?
+
We serve families throughout the Denver metro area, including Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Westminster, Thornton, Arvada, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Lone Tree, Parker, Wheat Ridge, and surrounding communities.
What if my parent doesn't want help?
+
This is incredibly common. We've helped hundreds of families navigate this exact situation. Call us and we'll share proven approaches that have helped other families have productive conversations with resistant parents.
How much does home care cost in Denver?
+
Most Denver home care agencies charge $40-50 or more per hour, with extra fees for weekends and holidays. At Atlee, home care is $35 per hour, flat rate, every time. No sign-up fees, no long-term contracts, no surprises.
What is a home care registry?
+
A home care registry connects families directly with independent caregivers instead of employing them like a traditional agency. This means lower costs for families and better pay for caregivers. Atlee is a home care registry based in Denver, and it is one of the reasons we can offer care at $35 per hour.
How is Atlee different from a home care agency?
+
Traditional agencies employ caregivers and mark up the rate, often charging $40-50+ per hour while paying caregivers only $15-18. Atlee is a registry, not an agency. We connect you directly with independent caregivers who earn more and cost you less. You stay in control of the relationship, the schedule, and the care.
Can you help with hospice support at home?
+
Yes. Absolutely. Hospice support is one of the most common reasons families contact us. Caregivers from our registry work alongside your hospice team to provide comfort, companionship, and personal care during this time. Call us and we will match you with someone experienced in end-of-life support.
How quickly can we get started?
+
Most families are matched with a caregiver within 24-48 hours. For urgent needs, we do everything we can to arrange same-day care. Call (720) 378-8707 and we will get the conversation started right away.
